LIMS’ staff work closely with LIMS’ scientists to help them better carry out their research, win research grants, and organise collaborations. LIMS is as selective in hiring its staff as it is in hiring its scientists.

Elizabeth Forrester   Fundraising                                

Biography • Elizabeth is a New Yorker raised in London with a BA from St Mary, Notre Dame. She has managed grants for the Applied & Computational Mathematics department at Caltech and has led a variety of fundraising initiatives, including £4 million for a parish in Soho and £500,000 for a London sculpture. As an account manager for Cisco Systems, she worked in advertising, marketing and brand management with 24 countries. Elizabeth has a a degree in Italian and is fluent in Spanish.

Antonia Tingey   Grants

Biography • Antonia Tingey studied at King's College London before starting a career in management in and around London. She has worked in business development in the restaurant trade (Simpsons of Cornhill Plc, the Atrium, Elistano) and business strategy and design (Industry Architecture and Design). She was most recently assistant to Lady Catherine Meyer, wife of the former British Ambassador to the United States.

Chloe Williams-Wynne   Operations manager  

Biography • Chloe grew up in Wales and read politics in Scotland (Edinburgh University) before moving to London. She has worked in fund-raising and accounts for both non- and for-profit companies. Outside of LIMS, she is doing a part-time degree in nutrition. Spare time is spent kite-surfing, motor-biking, skiing and any other inane sport going. Calmer interests include cooking and pilates. She completed the London Marathon and will be plunging into the Thames for the London Triathlon this summer.

Mole   Institute dog

Biography • Cairn-westie terrier Mole started life in Yorkshire and has lived London for three years but those who know her are convinced that she has a Scottish accent. She is happiest careering around in the countryside. In London, she chases squirrels with gusto and travels around in a basket on the back of Chloe’s bicycle. A greedy dog, she consumes everything from sweet potato to stuffed toys. She loves fire and other sources of heat and is an amateur sunbather.
